What is Online CBT?
Online Therapy has become increasingly popular over the past few years. In particular, receiving Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) via Skype has become something that is being offered more and more. There are several reasons for this:
1. Location: Some people live in parts of the world where appropriately qualified BABCP CBT Therapists are not available.
2. Busy Lives: Nowadays, people live such busy lives and it is a challenge to fit in therapy around work and family arrangements. Of the benefits of Online CBT is that it saves the client the time they would have needed to get to and from the therapy room. They simply log on at the agreed time - receive psychological therapy - and then can get straight on with their day.
